These handcrafted, high-quality patchwork quilts and pillow covers are created by Mayan cooperatives in the western highlands of Guatemala. The set includes 1 patchwork quilt and 3 embroidered pillow covers.

Both the quilt and pillow covers combine a vibrant red/rust color with a variety of indigenous designs and patterns. The pillow covers are designed to complement the quilt rather than match it exactly. Patchwork quilting is a traditional Mayan craft, using cotton patches to develop unique and vibrant color schemes with rich texture. The quilt is made of patches from various regions of Guatemala, reflecting a variety of styles and colors; it has a 100-percent polyester backing. Corner tabs are sewn on each quilt, allowing your eye-catching creation to be hung as a tapestry. We strongly recommend that you hand wash your quilt and pillow covers in cold water and hang it to dry, or have it professionally dry cleaned.
